a firm grip

Usually it is not necessary to treat leather bags and cases. However, it is recommended to treat very frequently used bags, cases and folders once or twice yearly with shoe paste which is sparingly applied and then polished.

Suede bags are particularly easy to clean. Scratches are hardly visible. Dirt and worn out areas are easily brushed out with a special brass-wire brush.

Greasy patches can be touched up with a suede-rubber. With a usual penetrating spray one can freshen up the appearance of the leather, and make it water-resistant to a certain degree.
