Play time
'It's not really work if you're having fun.'
Every creative needs their tools – and a place to play. For photographer Inge Prader, the studio
is both workshop and wonderland: a space to create, experiment, and follow instinct over routine.
On this particular day, two objects stood out among the cacophony of cables, coffee
cups, and camera gear. The Werkzeugtasche – our beautifully built tool bag – fits right in:
purposeful, precise, and made to last. And the Budapester in high-shine calf spazzolato?
Reflecting bright ideas, with a wink of mischief beneath all that craftsmanship.
They say the best camera is the one in your hand – we say the best shoes are the ones that
work hard and age well.
Few photographers move so effortlessly between worlds – from high fashion to handmade craft, from cinematic sets to intimate details. Inge Prader brings decades of experience and a deep respect for the tactile, the timeless, and the beautifully made. Her work captures not only what we see, but what we feel – a quiet celebration of skill, material, and collaboration.
“For me, the key question with any piece of work or artwork is: does it last, or is it something fleeting? Great works endure – they don’t have an expiry date,” she says.
Here, in the place she feels most at home – surrounded by lights, lenses, and just the right amount of creative chaos – she reminds us that creativity is both craft and conviction. Reflecting the light with every step, Inge chose our special Penny Loafer in midnightblue spazzolato – shoes fit for a director with an eye for detail and
a sparkle to match.
